Translating to your language

All developments can be easily translated into your language by using any translation tool like poEdit. All you have to do is to start a new translation project on your preferred tool, and load the POT file provided with the module.

All modules hold the language files inside the lang directory and there you will find the POT file with the string to be translated. After translating, save it as PO file, which will contain the translated strings, and create the MO file, which is the compiled version of your translation.

As all plugins include our development framework, you have not to forget to translate also the framework strings. As in all modules, you will find the POT files and the translated strings in the lang directory for the framework.

If you are translating one of the themes or plugins to your own language, subscribe to the Alkivia Translators mailing list, introduce yourself and let us know the module you want to translate and the language you will maintain. If there is some people already translating to your language them will let you know, if not, would be nice if you volunteer to maintain your translation.
